Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of its Senior Minister, Dr. Clifford A. Jones, Sr., has officially launched its Friendship Intergenerational Center (FIGC) campus at 3301 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28216. The FIGC campus houses two separate 501C3 entities, Marizetta Kerry Child Development Center and CORA'S Intergenerational Center. This campus is purposed to create and strengthen relationships of connectivity, empathy, respect, cognitive development, genuine care, socialization and cross-generational skill building that fosters intergenerational compassion and foundational success. This manifested vision continues the legacy and beacon of hope initiatives in the Historic West End of Charlotte through partnership and commitment to community.

Marizetta Kerry CDC (MZK) is a 5-Star child development center and 501c3 that serves ages six weeks through 12 years old in the Historic West End of Charlotte, NC. Celebrating over 55 years of community and family impact, MZK continues to believe that it takes a village to develop the whole child.

Intergenerational Center
CORA'S Intergenerational Center is a certified Adult Day Health Care provider, CORA'S Club Respite Care provider and 501c3 providing genuine care, socialization and activities in the Historic West End of Charlotte, NC co-located with Marizetta Kerry Child Development Center. Intergenerational connections between the 'neighbors' of CORA'S and our 'friends' at Marizetta Kerry CDC promote energy and empathy as populations age together.
